Netflix Villains: Ed Kemper – Mindhunter
The series Mindhunter, released in 2017, saw Cameron Britton portray the incredibly intelligent and equally unnerving serial killer Ed Kemper. The series highlights just how aware Kemper was of everything he was doing. The portrayal by Britton makes him memorable, especially if you know the history of his crimes.

Darlene Snell – Ozark
Ozark is a brilliant series we recommend if you haven’t seen it. One of the memorable characters in the show is the psychotic Darlene Snell, played to perfection by Lisa Emery. Right until the end in Ozark, Darlene was at the heart of many of the show’s shocking moments. From drug dealing to raising a small stolen child or bedding a teenager, Darlene is a complete wild card.
Nurse Mildred Ratched – Ratched
The story of Nurse Ratched is one of pure evil. She was hired to care for those with the most need. Ratched, starring Sarah Paulson is a depraved show, full of unnecessary lobotomies, bizarre sexual behaviors, and a lot of violence. It’s a fascinating look into one of the most well-known villains in fictional history.

Pablo Escobar – Narcos
Wagner Moura received a Golden Globe nomination for his stunning portrayal of Pablo Escobar in Narcos. He commanded the role brilliantly, making it impossible to take your eyes off him. Escobar organized many murders around the world as he built his empire. He was praised by many – and seen as a villain by others. It took a wonderful acting performance from Moura to capture the real essence of Escobar.
President Frank Underwood – House of Cards
Kevin Spacey has faced plenty of personal scandals in recent years, but his brilliant portrayal of Frank Underwood in House of Cards is undeniable. Throughout his five seasons on the show, he is cold and calculating, manipulating everyone around him. Underwood wants to be the leader of the free world and will stop at nothing to get there, making him one of the most memorable Netflix original series villains ever.
