2024 looks set to be a memorable year for many streaming platforms, including Netflix, with a number of movies and shows coming to the platform this year. The Witcher released a disappointing prequel season in 2022, Blood Origin, and it now seems the show’s team are pulling out all the stops to make an improved showing for season four, with Laurence Fishburne joining the cast.

Season Four Description
Fishburne will join the returning cast of Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey in season four. The official description paints a bleak but entertaining next season:
“After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri, who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other. If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire — and finding one another again.”
